These are available in any lead thickness depending on your wall shielding requirements.
Installation is simple, just screw the backing to the face of the studs before the drywall is installed.

Our lead backed spreader bars for electrical boxes are installed in minutes in a new construction wall and can expand to accommodate many standard stud layouts.
Your electrical box can be screwed on to the spreader bar after the bar is installed, or screwed into the side of a stud.
